If you wish to combine search terms, such as searching for a test by a particular author, click on the Advanced Search Tab.

To begin a search select a field from the drop-down menu and then enter the text for which you want to search.

ERIC descriptors are used to create subject terms.

The symbol for truncation is: *. This symbol provides all possible suffixes and word roots/endings when added to any shortened form of a word. A four character minimum is recommended, no capitalization or quotation marks are required.
Example Search: exam*
Results: all records with a keyword beginning in exam such as exam, examine, examination.

To Search for a Downloadable Test

Change the dropdown box to Order Information

Type downloadable in the search box

Click search

Use the Advanced Search tab to combine the search for a downloadable test with another search parameter.

To Search for a Test in Microfiche (a discontinued service – now available as downloadable):

Type TIM in the TitleSearch field

Click on search

Use the Advanced Search tab to combine the Tests in Microfiche search with another search parameter.
